The Salmon Flies are buzzing around the Yellowstone River right now! This is a GREAT time of year to book a float trip! The Yellowstone is a big river and is most effectively fished from a boat. Let us row you! There are lots of other bugs flying around as well: Caddis, Drakes, Yellow Sallies, Golden Stones… It’s pretty great. If you prefer to just wade fish without a guide, you should either head down to the Yankee Jim Canyon or boogie on up to the Tower section section of the Yellowstone (yes, the BIG BUGS are there, too!) If fishing isn’t your thing, the rating is always fun. The “school house” rapids are especially fun at these water levels, and the Canyon still has a lot of great hits. See YOU on the River!
