Horseback Rides in Yellowstone

Why the Name - Flying Pig?

More About Flying Pig Co.

Yellowstone Family Activities

Riding off into the sunset after a hard days work.

Horseback Riding

If horseback riding with small groups, a real Montana cowboy, and amazing scenery is your idea of a great time - our rides are for you.

Our outfitting partner, the Johnson Family has been in the ranch business since the 1930's. They operate one of the premier hunting lodges in the Rocky Mountains.

After checking in at the Flying Pig, enjoy a 6 mile scenic dirt road drive from Gardiner to the ranch. Your ride will depart from their high mountain retreat which borders Yellowstone National Park.

Over the past few years these rides have become so popular that we needed more room to describe these trips so we've dedicated a new site just to horseback riding in the north yellowstone area. Same trips - just more information.

"We absolutely enjoyed our overnight raft trip! The guides were both captivating , sensitive, and fun! We wish you continued success and hope to see you again for another adventure!" - Patricia and Rey Alfonso
